One of our customers shared that the Central York School Board in York, PA has banned many books about racial justice.  Two women who manage Free Little Libraries are accepting donations of these books to ensure they are still available in the York community.

Banned Book Week begins 9/26 but you can help put an end to censuring books by purchasing a book below.  We'll send your purchase FREE OF CHARGE (the shipping fees will be voided) to the York Community.  This program will be availalbe from 9/19 - 10/2.  Thanks for your support.

The 1619 Project is an ongoing initiative from The New York Times Magazine that began in August 2019, the four hundredth anniversary of the beginning of American slavery. It is led by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones, along with New York Times Magazine editor-in-chief Jake Silverstein, Ilena Silverman, and Caitlin Roper.
